Either an SK98 (18650 battery) or an SK68 (AA or 14500 battery) depending on whether I'm going to be outdoors at night or not. When I'm hunting, I have one SK98 in my pocket, and one SK98, one SK68, and spare batteries in my pack.

I've got Maglites and Inova flashlights but the most useful illumination I have is a single AA headlamp by camping company Kathmandu. I use it nearly every day. Not available anymore unfortunately. I also have quite a few of the cheap cylindrical LED flashlghts that take 3 AAA batteries. I don't expect them to last long but they are very bright and could be excellent trade goods.

The one in the pic is a kootek I'm not hard on my flashlights.but yet I figured that I'd be lucky to have it last me 6 months to a year,on account i thought it was going to be a cheap one. that's why I bought a box of 5 of them.and I've bought some rechargeable flashlights headlamps and lanterns since then.but still carry that flashlight.
