I missed it, again. Fortunately my laptop and my radio link clock did an automatic update. My microwave oven did not...
I like being back on "standard" time. I truly HATE "Daylight Savings Time"...
ARGGGH!!!

Woke up at my usual time this morning...usual solar time that is. My body didn't seem to get the memo on the time change.

I don't understand this one but it seems appropriate to the topic! It has been daylight savings time here for a while depending on which state you are in. Western Australia hasn't switched over yet. In the other states the capital cities are right over in the east of the state. So when they change the time over people living in the west of those states have a very dark long-lasting morning before dawn! PS: I have people that know I will forget the time change so they repeatedly remind me as it approaches!

If Monty Python says we must adjust our clocks, who am I to argue with that noted authority on Temporal Reality. TWP

When you are retired and wake up and go to sleep by your body's circadian rhythm, you realize how ridiculous daylight savings time is.
Reminds me of a job I had many years ago. I was friends with the manager, and I told him that in order to have a more meaningful lunch break, we should take off at 11 or 11:30 instead of 12, and then we could actually have time to eat lunch instead of fighting traffic and lunch crowds the entire lunch break. He was adamant that we had to have a 12-12:30 lunch break because that was the proper time to have a lunch break.
Companies can make their own schedules. They can give employees more time in the morning or more time in the evening if they want to. They can nullify daylight savings time simply by changing the schedule.
