Not just a local conflict, of which we have plenty, but TPTB are beating the drums for world war.
As I write this, Israel is under heavy attack and we should all be listening to whatever news reports can be trusted (not all of them are trustworthy).
I'm sure that all of you are aware of the huge numbers of "Illegal Immigrants" who are entering many countries around the entire globe.
Here in the US, we have literally millions of illegals already in the country, with more on the way. DO NOTE that the majority of these illegals (not immigrants) are military age men, not families. If we had a functional administration and military command, this would be described as an invasion...
I watch and I prep. I hope enough other people are doing the same because is looks bad, Very Bad.
How about you? Without giving away your privacy and security, what do you see happening in your area(s).

Sorry to burst your bubble but Israel isn't under heavy attack. Not to downplay the killing and grief but this is a raid, not a heavy conflict. Without air cover or heavy weapons Hamas will get mopped up. Start worrying when other borders are attacked as well by military forces, not monkeys jumping up and down on cars and murdering civilians. It could also be an Israeli false flag. If it escalates then we could all be in big trouble but it may have been set up to be the 'justification' for the evil ones to start a worldwide slaughter. Like WMD in Iraq, WTCs and Afghanistan, etc. Again it is really sickening but not the end of the world...yet.
Wait and see and keep stocking up.

I get worried when I read about troops crossing borders and civilians being shot and rounded up. I think, based on what I'm reading, that these things are happening in Israel right now.
Yes, I do think this is a 'heavy' attack. If I believe the numbers being reported in media (Ok, that may include questionable info sources) such as 5000 rockets launched from the Gaza heights strip, say this is more than merely a spot fire event. Ask who supplied those rockets, arms and ammo to Hamas?
I extrapolate this to my country, the USA, and the potential danger presented by the large numbers of military age men who are being allowed to cross our border. Not just allowed to enter, but being shipped to many US cities. These are red flag events.
Now I ask that readers in other countries look at the same situation happening in their country, France and Greece for example.
These are some of the reasons I prep. Yeah, I"m waving that red flag because that is part of my prepping.

And you are right to be waving red flags. There are enough of them ATM to make your arms ache! But the attack on Israel isn't one of them at this stage. It is too small and ineffectual. I know that sounds blunt and callous. But Israel remains. The infrastructure is still intact, the systems are still running, food and water are still available. What has changed is the outlook. People who didn't quite get it are now more awake. Where it goes from here, who knows?
Re your invasion: you have every right to be worried. It doesn't take a genius to realize the Dept of Education and the the Dept of Ag don't need a half billion rounds of ammo between them. You can easily see what is going to happen. Your country (and maybe mine, not sure) will be lucky not to lose millions dead in the near future. Ditto with UK/most of Europe.
But never doubt you will triumph. Western civ has a big advantage over all others. Discipline. Westerners have the ability to focus on the mission above all else. To utilize a 'terrible resolve', if you like. While those Hamas monsters were gibbering about like monkeys, Westerners would have been reloading. But it will be messy.
Locally, the biggest threat here IMO is the gov. It is totally corrupted. An article a year or two back likened it to an occupying force more than an Australian institution. And current conditions share a lot with Occupied Europe in the 40's. 'm not religious but God help us all.

I would go out on a limb and say that Israel is in fact a diversion from how poorly the Ukraine is going. What happens next is going to be the interesting part. If/when Russia steam rolls their way into Kiev it is going to be interesting to see how the US reacts.

It threw up red flags for me as well.include the Ukraine Russia war with that.plus what we're doing for Ukraine, and what we will be doing for israel.what I'm picturing don't paint a pretty picture for us.

If I read the news correctly, there is an increase in incidents of violence around the world. So, what can/should we be doing, as preppers, to be better ready to handle what may/will happen in our more local areas? My short list: 1) Increase our stockpile of food, water, comm gear, ammo, weapons (guns, knives, etc.). 2) Stay tuned to multiple sources of "news". Be aware that some of those sources will offer "news" which is false... Even "false" news can help you plan, if you know that the news source is suspect. 3) Activate your local group communication structure. 4) Load your BOV (Bug Out Vehicle(s)). Check your BOB (Bug Out Bag) and be sure it is close at hand. 5) Review your Bug Out Plans in light of what may be happening in your area and in terms of what may happen. Please look at the above as normal prepper activity BUT with higher state of awareness... Paranoid? Yes. Safer? I think so. TWP

I would go out on a limb and say that Israel is in fact a diversion from how poorly the Ukraine is going. Totally agree. A bloodthirsty raid makes no sense on its own so this had to be part of a bigger plan. But what that is I have no idea. A bit of speculation. Russia was supposed to overrun Ukraine entirely. This would have 'triggered' a large war and been the 'justification' for martial law in the US. Martial law would have meant the gov could 'legally' kill any US citizen it wanted too. Convenient! But Putin was too smart. Instead he is grinding down everything thrown at him. Check. So let's try again in the Middle East. But this time let's use women and children as the 'righteous cause' and make sure the visual media is overwhelming. I mean, you can't be on the side of monsters who bayonet nuns...no, wait, we used that one for the japs in WW2,...who behead 40 babies or kill 500 in a hospital...no, wait, that didn't happen. The evil ones are trying to kick off a big war. They are doing it because they are evil so it may not make sense to normal people. But a lot of death seems to be one of their goals. I have a feeling that if it can't be triggered overseas in the Ukraine, Middle East or somewhere then as a last resort there will be a false flag nuke det somewhere in the continental US. I mean you can't argue with that can you? Someone has to pay. Cue martial law and ensuing horror.

I fail to see any similarities at all between Israel and Ukraine beyond the money we send to the two countries. I see a lot more similarities between Hamas and Ukraine, especially the AZOV battalion.

I think his point was that they are both military industrial complex money making schemes with some political money laundering thrown in for good measure.

Hmmm. Lots of earthquakes lately. A bit more speculation. Maybe the evil ones are trying to trigger a big Yellowstone eruption. Convenient because it would have to be "natural", so no evil group to blame. Cue martial law to "help the poor, suffering children",etc, etc. Hope I'm wrong!

I hope you're wrong too. I'm not that far from Yellowstone but hopefully out of the predominant wind pattern. 'course I have about four or five other volcanoes on the US west coast that could be triggered too... Interesting times...

I'm more concerned about the New Madrid Fault Zone than about Yellowstone. A repeat of the 1811-1812 New Madrid quakes could level Kansas City, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Columbus, Nashville, and Memphis.

That fault line is a concern for me as well.i don't know if it's true or not.but I heard that it let loose once, and rung a church Bell in Maine.

Yes, it rang church bells a thousand miles from the epicenter. That would be like an earthquake with an epicenter at San Francisco ringing church bells in Nebraska.
Most of what was near the epicenter was still wilderness with just Indian settlements. We know some of those Indian settlements vanished and that the Mississippi River flowed backwards.
