Good article, thanks. Ghee is available in some supermarkets but you will be able to get it for sure at Indian or Middle-East stores. It doesn't require refrigeration like butter, it will keep on the shelf. And be aware that full-cream milk powder, I think you guys call it whole milk, does not keep for much more than two years. Skim or low-fat milk powder however will keep for decades if stored right. These foods are cheap and last for a long time. Although they will be bulky they would form the basis for your long term food needs if things go awry. Very reassuring when the mushrooms clouds form!
