This article describes four levels of actions needed to raise your privacy. www.survivopedia.com/how-to-delete-your-digital-footprint/Level 1 is minimal, but can be done by almost everyone, immediately Level 2 requires that you stop using your name for most things. This requires significant effort on your part and the application of continuous thought on what actions you take. Level 3 is expensive and Requires some serious actions on your part. Level 4 is only contemplated if you are a criminal or are considering doing actions which are currently illegal. Do your own Due Diligence Research on this, after reading what the author says about this level of "privacy"... FYI, I'm somewhere between Level 1 and Level 2, 'nuf said. Also My Opinion, the author's opinion on using Google, for anything, is NOT VALID. Google cannot be trusted. Stay away from all things Google. Browsers require serious research because some of them are an open invitation to lose your online privacy. Again, do your own research... This webpage has a download link for a PDF document. I recommend saving that PDF in your Prepper Document Archives.

On this topic, let me add (My Opinion) that using any of the Microsoft products, including especially their Windows product, is an open invitation to privacy loss.
I use Linux and recommend that all of you install Linux (many different distributions available) on a dedicated computer, such as a laptop. Learn to use it safely and Don't (My Opinion) do a dual install with Windows, even thought that is possible (see my first sentence).
Use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) as a primary part of your computer firewall. I don't recommend using any of the for-pay VPNs, because that will leave a payment trail pointing back at you. Again, do your own research on this.

Brave browser and search engine. I use it on my phone, on Windows 7 and on Linux. No more targeted ads bugging me all the time.
