Once upon a time; many, many years ago; in a land far, far away
I found this works out in the field.
If you have limited capability to bathe then prioritize in this order:
Person 1) hands 2) face 3) feet 4) groin (front and back) 5) arm pits 6) the rest of you in no particular order.
Clothes 1) socks 2) underwear 3) T-shirts 4) the rest of your clothes in no particular order.
If you can manage it out in the field, do a minimum of 15 minutes of bare feet exposed to the sun. I found that cut the number of foot related problems (jungle rot) almost completely out. Longer ( up to about an hour ) was better.
Doing the groin areas for a minimum of 15 min cut the number of crotch rot problems almost completely out. Longer ( up to an hour ) was better.
It is difficult to get such time worked safely into patrols and such.

In hot weather it pays to keep your neck clean. Sweat, salt and dirt will build up on your collar and rub as you move. Very uncomfortable rashes can result from this. Also in very hot weather you feet will turn into big soft blobs like prunes, even in so-called breathable boots. In my experience with well fitting boots this won't have any damaging effect but you must let your feet dry out once a day. It may take more than 15 minutes, let them dry until they feel dry. They may still feel damp long after any free water has evaporated.
And allocate about a gallon (4-5 litres) to wash your whole body. Long hair will require more water.
