As thousands of people line up for their Covid vaccines in cities and the third stimulus check is in the bank I have to wonder if it is all over! Grocery stores now have TP and covid supplies such as sanitizers and cleaners back in stock and even reduced. Some of the counties in Tennessee are letting their mask mandates expire and not renewing them. Bars, restaurants and theatres are reopening slowly.
Most of the shortages now seem to be homesteading supplies for those of us who live homesteading and prepper lifestyles. Shortages seem to continue for things like seeds and Gardening and canning supplies. Prices continue to climb for fuel and building supplies with shortages cropping up in lumber, Home Depot was limiting the amount of insulation you could purchase at one time. PVC pipe has disappeared from the shelves with the last round of ice storms.
So where do we go from here? Will there be another round of Covid in the US or is the worse behind us.

Third wave rolling across Europe, France, Germany, Poland Ukraine all going into lockdown again. Tens of thousands flee Paris before the lockdown commences. We are a very long way from normality, especially in the US where most of the thousands of migrants being allowed in are testing positive for Corona, And MORE than a few with TB.

Covid has been eradicated in Australia for months, apart from a handful of cases we bring in from overseas. Where I am we only have to wear masks on public transport. Very few restrictions any more, shops full, business as usual. But I'm still prepping.

There are times through the year that I just kind of sit and assess, rotate stock and evaluate.

Same here DD, although my prepping focus changes direction sometimes. For instance, currently I'm putting a lot of money into getting my children/grandchildren better prepared. My daughter just completed the lengthy process of obtaining a handgun licence (minimum of 6 to 8 months training here), and has must purchased a .357 magnum revolver, so I've been buying bulk reloading supplies for her, to keep that big revolver fed. Also spent a lot of money on spare parts for one of my son's rifles (they are 10 times more expensive here than in the US) and bought my 3 year old grandson his first motorbike.
