Heads up some of the items that have disappeared from shelves for months are starting to reappear.
Alcohol 70 or 90% has started to be available again in my area. Not in Walmart but the smaller grocery stores and Dollar Stores.
I am now seeing hand disinfectant again.
Filters for my Central air unit are again available on shelves.
Things that are now scarce for us are sanding pads or belts or paper( for wood)??
Spray paint is another item hard to find.
My husband bought a piece of ply wood that had doubled in price.
Lumber all around is steady rising as well.
That is what we have noticed here it may be different in your area.
A couple people I know have found canning lids again and jars. Just a few here and there though.

I've seen 70% alcohol on the shelves a couple of times, but not 91%. I've been having to use 95% Everclear in place of the 91%. Pricey but it's available. Hand disinfectant has been widely available for months here.

Today I saw where the local Walmart had canning jars in stock again but no lids. They were limiting them though. You could only buy 2 cases.

For the moment we are not experiencing any major shortages, canning supplies are back on the shelf, but a mortgage is required to buy them. Nothing new really, we're not a nation of canners. They are saying that Turkey could be in short supply at Christmas as the European processing staff aren't here. I'm sure they will get the birds in the shops somehow, greed will overcome and there's no way the big Turkey farmers will have started off birds with no contingency plan in place. Scarmongering is all it is.

Sonic hubby and I took a ride yesterday to the hardware store at the next big town down the mountain to get a window. The last window fell to a lawn mower and a walnut! It was not pretty Anyway... on the way back from picking out a replacement window I stopped at a small locally owned IGA coming back up the mountain to grab a couple things for a dish I am making. Holy crap they had things marked way up. From now on I think I will do my shopping at a bigger store in town. Lots of price gouging going on.

Yeah it is.i read somewhere that not even half of the cargo ships that sitting at anchor off port won't be unloaded until mid summer of next year.if not later. Unless they take a trip down through the Panama Canal and unload in Florida that is... www.flgov.com/2021/10/19/governor-ron-desantis-floridas-seaports-are-open-and-ready-to-meet-holiday-demands/JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida Seaports have open capacity and can meet holiday demand, while other seaports across the country are struggling to keep up. Governor DeSantis made the announcement at JAXPORT, where he was joined by Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Kevin Thibault and Florida Seaport executives. Seaports including JAXPORT, Port Everglades, Port Tampa Bay and Port Panama City all have availability to handle more cargo. At the event, JAXPORT announced that they will be offering incentives to any company that chooses to bring its business to the port, freeing up backlogs at other ports while ensuring Americans are able to receive the goods they order faster. Governor DeSantis was able to make the announcement that Florida Seaports are able to meet demand because Florida has continuously invested in its seaports.
