Wow I have never seen that. Not a fan of Spam but will admit hubby eats it and I do have some in my preps. I tend to can my own meats. Mostly chicken and beef. I also can many of my own soups like chili, ham and bean soup and chicken soup. I do prep lots of tuna in a can and I do have some commercial canned chicken and beef when I catch it on a good sale. I home can my own vegetables as well. Also dehydrate some and do jerky. The tinned steamed pudding was also interesting, that was a new one for me as well. My pasta sauce is also home canned. Other than that our lists are really very similar.

Okay I couldn't take it. I had to google it looks good. Tastes even better with Ambrosia tinned Custard. Most puddings here are purchased in small single serving plastic tubs with a foil seal. Definitely not suitable for storage.

Spam is my No 1 food prep. I'm off to the big smoke (Adelaide) in the morning - I'll have to look around and see if I can find any Bacon Grill.

Yes we have those as well, plastic tub with sealed foil lid, Shelf life of about 1 1/2 years. I don't buy those but surprises me that the shelf life is that long. I still think that I would hesitate to buy those for storage unless very short term. When and if I buy pudding for everyday use I buy the powdered mix in the pack. That is usually for adding in a recipe of some kind. Just not a big pudding eater I guess.
